Bad product, bad costumer service
I bought this coffeemaker in March 2010 as a anniversary gift to my husband. We were please with it until mid June 2010 when the espresso part stopped working. I contacted DeLonghi and was told by them to take it to a repair shop in Orlando. I dropped it off for repair on July 9. It took them over 2 weeks to let me know it was not repairable. They said they had already contacted DeLonghi and that I would receive a new one in 14 days. Today is August 23, 2010 and my coffeemaker has not arrived yet. I called DeLonghi, 3rd time now, and they don't even know what is going on. The costumer service guy said he will try to find out more about that and will get back to me in 5 to 7 days. Isn't that very disrespectful?! I'm tired of waiting. I have been brewing coffee using a cloth filter and boiled water, just like my grandmother used to do it.
This Might be worth .00 as long as you're willing to but another one every year.
Well, it looks pretty, and it did make coffee for a while, but within 10 months, I'm seeing the same issues as most others. Leaking water on coffee pot side. To be honest, I never even tried the Latte side, (bought it for the looks), but now that the water is leaking, ruining counters, lack of Delonghi Acknowledgment of KNOWN issue (just look at the multitude of reviews out there) and support (unless I can ship them my unit, at my expense), DeLonghi will be on my "DON'T even look at it" list.
Not sure what all the fuss is about...?
I don't know what all the fuss is about with this machine. I've had mine for about 8 months now and I still love it, it works great, has never leaked. Makes the best coffee and espresso ever and I couldn't be happier. You'd think this thing was a piece of crap based on the reviews. Two things to remember is that the water container DOES leak if you futz around with it too much; just take it out, sit it up, pour the water in and put it back. Second, do NOT PACK DOWN THE ESPRESSO!!! I believe this is the root of most of the problems. The machine packs it down itself. Do NOT pack down the mixture. It says this expressly in the book.
I think that this machine is expensive and complex enough that one should read the user manual before using it. Don't think that it's like every other coffee machine... take the time to read the manual so you know what to (and what not to) do.
We love this machine and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. I could never go back to a normal coffee machine after this. I love strong, dark coffee and this makes it best. It's so easy to clean, it's quiet and it makes coffee fast. GREAT choice.

Makes coffee rather well. I don't like the IFD (instant froth device) and would prefer to have the traditional steam tube on the side. If I had to purchase again, I would buy the 120 model instead.
De Longhi BCO130T Combination Coffee/Espresso Machine
So far the machine seems to work well, but we have only had it for a few days. The instruction sheet is HORRIBLE. The drawings are INACCURATE - probably done for several models. If you are a neophyte in Espresso Machines, unless you have a friend who is familiar with espresso machines, I do not recommend it. It took us an hour to figure it out due to the poor instruction drawing.

I bought this coffee maker after the owner of BC0110 Figaro. cracked after about six months of normal use with the Figaro, who was in the water tank handle, into two halves. The espresso side is often blocked and the milk was never quite hot enough, so I decided to apply this model to aktualisieren.Ich went online to buy another water filter for $ 5, and found that a “standard shipping Delonghi $ 9 fee. 99 per order for each of its parts. I was shocked, because this could only buy the place I think this filter, and were charged 200% of the filter off my ship. If I have an e Email customer service, responded by reaffirming the costs. The manual had no prescriptions for either hot chocolate or milk. We called their customer service and were not helpful. He also insisted that the recipes were in the instructions as they are not. Can anyone help me? If you are looking for help Delonghi, forget it. Rating: 5.3
