There's Nothing Like a Bunn
Bunn coffee makers have it all over any other. It's instant coffee because the water is always hot and it tastes great!
Great coffee maker
I have owned both old and new versions of the Bunn home coffee machine. I have gone through 3 of the home brewers in an office environment where they work 24 hrs. a day and are never subject to deliming or other maintenance .. other than normal washing.
At home I've owned Bunn home coffee machines for the last 20 years; I'm on my 5th one. Forget the Mr. Coffee and those digital-timer wonders that are ok, but just don't work that well.
I have noticed quality control issues with the newer models that are a little disturbing .. I don't like the straight design of the new coffee decanter ... the old onion-dome classic is what I really liked because the decanter just worked better .. balance with a full pot in hand, no spilling or sloushing problems .. and yes, it goes naturally back where it is supposed to go .. wish Bunn would get this right again and just give us the retro-classic machine!
Secondly, my older machines all lasted longer than the newer models .. which have problems with the lighted switch sometimes going out .. and the older machine was just better built .. even the switches (a very simple design) was superior to the cheap switches they now use .. and replacement is expensive for what you get.
Nothwithstanding these problems the Bunn home brewer makes excellent coffee and does it fast .. wish they'd get control of the quality issues and make replacement parts less expensive .. I recently lost that little sprayhead .. probably a 30 cent part that costs you for shipping alone, c'mon Bunn .. as much as these machines go for new .. you should just give these away.
PS: the old decanter was much better .. I don't like the new decanter and don't care that it is made from Schott glass .. it feels too thin; and more importantly the styling is terrible.
Not As Good
Ever since replacing my 12 year old Bunn, I've had the feeling my new brewer didn't make coffee that was quite as good.
Today I was visiting a friend who, under the same circumstances, expressed the same sentiment. After some deliberation we decided the new machines may not heat the water to as high a temperature as the old ones.
I don't like the new pot either.
If you have an old Bunn that still works, keep it, or better yet, trade it to me.

Not quite five stars
I bought this Bunn brewer to replace an old one that finally expired after very long service. I think the Bunn brewer is the best way to brew coffee. It is very fast and keeps the brewing water at the perfect temperature. I have two small issues with my new BX-W brewer. They made the coffee pot more of a cylinder with straight sides all the way to the top. (The old pot has sides that curve in towards the top.) When the pot is nearly full and you put it back on the warmer it often will slop a little coffee over the back side. The old one did not do this. I am sure it was done to make it look more stylish but it slops. Second minor problem is when the pot is placed on the warmer it does not center well. That means you have to play with it a bit to get the coffee stream from the filter to center on the hole in the cover. It is a minor annoyance but it could have been avoided. Other than that, the coffee is great. Even with it's flaws I would highly recommend it.

Since replacing my 12 years of Bunn, I have my feeling new brewery is not coffee, as I was good enough hatte.Heute a friend brought the same conditions that the sentiment expressed. After thinking we decided the new machines can not heat the water at a temperature as high as the white alten.Ich know not how the new dish, is an old entweder.Wenn Bunn running again, continue, or better yet, trade me . (Go to my “three stars to a” two change) Rating: 5.2
I bought this brewer Bunn, an old and possibly replace the expired after a very long time. I think the brewer Bunn is the best way to brew coffee. It ‘very fast and holds the water temperature perfect beer. I have two small problems with my new brewery BX-W. They made coffee over a cylinder with straight sides all the way up. (The old pot has sides that curve upward.) If the pot is almost full and return often warmer is a little slop coffee on the back. The old man did not. I’m sure that has been done to make it look more elegant, but spills out. The second problem is when the little vase on the middle warmer is not in good position. This means that you must play with a bit ‘to get the flow of coffee from the center hole of the filter cover. This is a small annoyance, but could have been avoided. Besides that, coffee is great. Even with his faults I recommend it. Rating: 5.4

I hear both the old and the new versions of Bunn home coffee machine. I went through 3 of breweries in a home office environment where they work 24 hours. one day and never get to maintenance or other deliming. . than home waschen.Zu normal I Bunn coffee machines at home for the last 20 years of ownership, I’m on my fifth one. Remember the Mr. Coffee and miracles digital timers that are OK, but not as good funktionieren.Ich have problems with quality control of the newer models that are a bit ‘unsettling note. . I do not like the linear design of the carafe of coffee again. . . the old classic onion dome is what I liked, because the pitcher just worked better. . Balance with a pot in hand, without falling or sloushing problems. . and yes, it is obviously where you should go back. . Bunn you want to get this right and gives us back the retro-classic car! Secondly, my everything older machines required more time than the newer models. . Quit having problems with the light switch at times. . front and the car was just built better. . even more change (a very simple design) was the equitable passes using now. . and replace what you teuer.Abweichend of these problems, the Bunn home brewer makes a good coffee and do it quickly. . I wish that would gain control on quality and less expensive parts questions. . I recently lost, just the spray head. . probably a part of 30 cents it costs only $ 7 shipping, come Bunn. . as well as machines go for new. . You should only verschenken.PS this: the old decanter was much better. . I do not know how the new jugs and not the mind that glass is Schott. . it feels too thin, and most importantly, the style is terrible. Rating: 5.3
